Denis Villeneuve Directing Rendezvous With Rama

More great sci-fi film news from Denis Villeneuve: he's announced he'll be directing a film version of Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous With Rama. That's after he completes Dune Part 2. So basically, the dude is a science fiction god at this point.

Rama has all the mystery, adventure, sci-fi concepts and visuals you could ask for in a big Hollywood space movie. It's ideally suited to a coolly elegant visual stylist like Villeneuve (or David Fincher, who was attached at one point). I've read the novel four or five times, and it never fails to capture my imagination.
